George C. Constant

George holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation from Boston University School of Law, and a Juris Doctorate from New England School of Law. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Skidmore College, where years later he proudly served as a Director on the Alumni Board. Prior to starting his own practice, George was associated with a downtown Boston Trusts & Estates firm, where he represented high-net-worth families and their businesses. George has also served as a consultant to both local and internationally renowned charitable organizations seeking to advance their missions through charitable gift planning. George serves as an adjunct faculty member at Salem State College, teaching estate planning in the Graduate Certificate Program in Financial Planning. He is also a member of Wealth Counsel, LLC, a national organization of trusts and estates attorneys and other legal, tax and business professionals who design sophisticated planning techniques for individuals and families.
George enjoys educating his community and is a frequently requested lecturer for private industry, community groups and charitable organizations. His presentation topics include family wealth planning, wealth preservation, and asset protection of inheritances. In addition, George has been featured as an estate planning expert on financial radio programs. George has chosen to concentrate on the Trusts and Estates area because he is passionate about helping families and individuals ensure the proper stewardship of their legacies and create happy and secure futures.
Sarah Brouillard
Legal Assistant
Sarah Brouillard joined Constant Law Group in February of 2023. She enjoys the communication and care that is involved in the Estate Planning process, finding meaning in helping clients reach their objectives to protect their families and loved ones. She is involved from start to finish in all aspects of the Estate Planning and Estate Administration processes.
Sarah is currently pursuing her Juris Doctorate degree from Suffolk University Law School in Boston, MA. She finds that the knowledge and skills acquired from her evening classes give her a significant advantage in her role as a Legal Assistant at Constant Law Group. She is passionate about learning all that she can about the legal field both in the classroom and in the office.
Prior to law school, Sarah graduated from Boston College with a B.A. in International Studies and Sociology. She concentrated her studies in Political Economy and Development, and she enjoys learning about the world around her. Sarah often finds herself immersed in new environments, communities, and cultures, believing that the best way to understand and help those around her is to listen to their experiences and learn about who they are and what is meaningful to them.
Henry C. Weatherby
of Counsel
Hank joined Constant Law Group in 2010 as of counsel. He is an experienced estate planning attorney dedicated to serving the needs of closely-held businesses, including succession and exit planning as well as general business planning. Hank has a BS in Human Resource Management from the State University of New York, Albany and a JD from the University of Connecticut School of Law. Hank is Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS), a designation granted by the International Association of Employee Benefit Specialists and the Wharton School of Business. Hank is the contributing editor of A Legal Guide for Connecticut Entrepreneurs, published by the CT Small Business Administration and has authored and co-authored articles on estate planning, pension administration issues, COBRA, Family Medical Leave Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Hank is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the Wealth Counsel, the Hartford Business and Estate Planning Counsel, the Central Connecticut Estate Planning Counsel, and the Society of Financial Service Professionals. He is a founder and past President of the Connecticut Chapter of the National Institute of Pension Administrators and a former President of the Hartford Chapter of the Society of Financial Service Professionals. Hank is a member of the Connecticut and Idaho Bar Associations and the Hartford County Bar Association. He is a member of the Elder Law, Estate Planning, and Taxation sections of the Connecticut Bar Association. Hank has developed and regularly conducts continuing education programs on estate, business and exit planning, as well as elder law in both Connecticut and Massachusetts. Hank also maintains a law practice in the Hartford, Connecticut area.
John Koenig
of Counsel
John Koenig recently joined Constant Law Group as of counsel, collaborating with George Constant on business succession matters related to our estate planning clients. John has practiced as a business lawyer since 1986, working with entrepreneurs and business owners to help them accomplish succession transactions in their businesses. John’s passion is helping entrepreneurs and business owners obtain successful results with what he calls “The Most Important Transaction of Their Life” – the ownership transition of their business. John helps his clients understand and craft imaginative alternatives and strategies to prepare for and accomplish a successful business succession transaction. John’s clients have owned and operated a wide variety of businesses, from low to high-tech, professional services, virtual, and bricks-and-mortar.
John started his own practice in 1992 in San Fransisco, with a goal to help smaller private companies that could not or would not access legal services at a large law firm. In 1994, at the insistence of his wife, he returned to the East Coast, settling in Massachusetts, where he soon met and joined up with Roger Glovsky and formed Glovsky & Koenig, P.C. Since 2008, John has focused his practice on ownership transitions in later stage companies. His
clients are often interested in working on the impending or eventual transfer of ownership of their businesses.
John is licensed to practice law in Massachusetts, California, and New Hampshire. John
also maintains a separate law practice in Concord, Massachusetts.
